Edappadi K Palaniswami Meets Prime Minister Modi
Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS), the leader of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Tiruchy, Tamil Nadu. This meeting comes after a period of tension between the AIADMK and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who are political allies.
EPS will be accompanied by other important AIADMK members, including SP Velumani, KP Munusamy, and RB Udhayakumar. They will meet the Prime Minister on Saturday night.
What Will They Discuss?
During this meeting, EPS plans to talk about his ‘Makkalai Kappom, Thamizhagathai Meetpom’ campaign. He will also present a list of requests for Tamil Nadu, with a **top priority** being an exemption from the **NEET** exam.
Although there have been disagreements between the two parties about sharing power after elections, EPS is unlikely to bring this up during the meeting.

Several other political leaders, including those from the BJP and its allies, have also requested to meet Prime Minister Modi. However, only EPS’s meeting has been confirmed so far.

Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Tamil Nadu on Saturday evening and will visit the renovated Thoothukudi airport. On Sunday, he will attend the Aadi Thiruvathirai celebrations at the historic Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple.
